@vilevarangian This is the absolute best reason why liberals in Russia should be shamed until capitulation. John Seeley was probably the worst thing to happen to Imperial thinking because it placed the justifications for the British Empire into a moral framework we are still suffering from.
@vilevarangian Guchkov is almost always presented as “a conservative monarchist” in the west despite being vital to the Tsar’s abdication. It should always be remembered that he was an Old Believer first.
