You know who else gets "weary and bored"? Actual jurors. For weeks at a time, while considering matters far less consequential than this.

Here's something I think about way too often: Apple forced not one but *four* juries to sit through endless technical testimony in its Dickensian battle to prove that Samsung stole its idea of a phone constituting a "rectangle with rounded corners."

Jury duty is good and honorable service, and hard work. Lives and livelihoods depend on regular citizens paying close attention and weighing the evidence before them. Congress should, if anything, be held to a much higher standard.
