My husband @peterdaou and I proudly support #Bernie's #NotMeUs movement because it is a massive, diverse working class progressive movement that centers marginalized voices in the fight to overhaul the oppressive systems destroying our country.

Does that offend you?
Are you threatened in some way by long-silenced marginalized voices who are now being lifted up and centered?

Do you benefit in some way from the system remaining exactly as it is?

If so, own it. If not, join us.
Do you believe the false media narrative that the #NotMeUs movement is not for you? That it's only a bunch of "angry, young white males" following an "old white guy."

Using the term "Bernie bro" erases the millions of #Bernie supporters who are not young, white or male.
If you understand and push back on false media narratives about candidates you like, intellectual honesty necessitates using that same understanding for candidates you don't like.

The political and media establishment only wants to protect itself, not you. Don't buy their spin.
The establishment is actively pushing the false "Bernie Bro" narrative to erase the diversity of the movement.

If the #NotMeUs movement was portrayed honestly, we'd see that it's a broad coalition fighting for the dignity of everyone. You might even be compelled to join.
That's what Peter and I did after 2016. We looked critically at our perceptions and the manufactured narratives, and once we saw past the spin, we saw the compelling truth.

#NotMeUs is a fiercely kind and compassionate movement that will fight for ALL of us to have better lives.
It's been an intense primary with a lot of bitter fighting. Supporters of ALL candidates have engaged in ugly battles, not just one group.

Intellectual honesty is important, even if it comes at the cost of a sense of righteousness.
If you don't like #Bernie, know that we're fighting for you anyway.

If you don't want to accept the truth of the diversity and compassion of our movement, we're fighting for you anyway.
