From @michelleinbklyn's today:

"Attacking another candidates’ supporters rather than her record is kind of obnoxious."

By this logic, HRC was attacking Bernie's 2016 supporters by pointing out his demographics skewed white. Now that the roles are reversed, it's a "attack."
@michelleinbklyn This campaign would NEVER attack supporters. The script, which was not directed by the campaign, pointed out that Bernie is more successful at putting together the broad, diverse, working class coalition necessary to beat Trump. This is about the candidate & is true. From WaPo:
@michelleinbklyn It is disheartening to see a campaign cynically weaponize the identities of voters in this way in service of white candidate , and smear the more diverse, less college educated, more working class movement. We must ask: who benefits from this?
@michelleinbklyn @michelleinbklyn should also know better than to perpetuate this smear: "Many believe he weakened Hillary Clinton by dragging out the primary — at one point even threatening a contested convention — and then only halfheartedly rallying his fans behind her when it was over."
@michelleinbklyn As anyone with a moderately objective account of history knows, Bernie did 39 events for Hillary after he dropped out, she thanked him graciously for his efforts.
@michelleinbklyn Here's a piece from the New York titled "Bernie's Hard Fight for Hillary." newyorker.com/news/amy-david…

Here's one from the WSJ: wsj.com/articles/berni…

(It was 41 events, my bad).
@michelleinbklyn @michelleinbklyn quotes me as saying people aren't excited about Warren, but of course, that's not what I said. It's easy to see how she might be confused, however, because like most of the media, she's erased an important part of this narrative: Castro's attack of Bernie.
@michelleinbklyn My tweet responded to Castro's claim that "a quarter" of the electorate would be "unhappy w Bernie"-- pitching Warren as a "unity" candidate because she's the 2nd place of many voters. My tweet pointed out that Bernie is the enthusiastic 1st place choice of more voters: True.
@michelleinbklyn She quotes Warren's crowd sizes without mentioning Bernie's bigger crowds, the fact that he has orders of magnitude more donors, and more volunteers. Her evidence that Warren is the unity candidate? :
@michelleinbklyn "I’ve heard from many people that they’ve never felt as passionate about a candidate as they do about her."

I'm sure that's true. I also invite folks to check out the stories at #MyBernieStory.

Ppl are dying from lack of healthcare and they trust Bernie to help. Passionately.
@michelleinbklyn I believe that Bernie is a unity candidate because he has never said or done anything to take focus off of the needs of the people. I hope we can all return to those issues that really matter at tomorrow's debate.
@michelleinbklyn an*. Sigh.
