FOR THOSE WHO ASK:

I'm a Lebanese-American boy,
Turned war refugee,
Turned child conscript,
Turned NYU philosophy student,
Turned 90s remixer/keyboardist,
Turned anti-Bush protestor
Turned progressive blogger,
Turned Dem strategist,
Turned increasingly left & anti-establishment.

I feel warmly welcomed by the left, specifically #Bernie supporters. Which is so gratifying considering how intensely we battled in 2016.

But for those who don't know my netroots activism during the Bush-Cheney era, moving left is coming home for me. It's where I started.

And for those who ask: No, I'm not saying positive things about #Bernie to later try to convince people to back #Warren.

Yes, I like Warren, but I am increasingly drawn to the power and solidarity of the #NotMeUs movement. We will NEVER defeat the far right without mass action.

I fear worse days ahead, and without a tightly-knit, deeply dedicated, motivated grassroots movement, we are in serious trouble.

I believe #BernieSanders has been the catalyst for that kind of a lasting #PeoplePowered movement.

I want to be a part of it and help grow it.
