@RepJeffries made a mess tonight, but the House Report was clear:
Trump's "conduct here was criminal. In this section we address the federal statute banning bribery; in the next section we address the wire fraud statute." p. 120.

"President Trump’s violation of both statutes [bribery and fraud] is further evidence of the egregious
nature of his abuse of power."

p. 122:
The House Report goes through all 4 steps.
Here it concludes steps 1 and 2:
1. Solicitation/Seeking
2. Anything of value...

Four for four.
They explicitly alleged criminal bribery in writing.
There is something very weird going on, and Schiff's clean-up still made no sense.

I'd suggest the House team should read their own report, too. Or have better answers tomorrow.
