1. Here's how incoherent the Democratic argument truly is regarding Joe Biden forcing the firing of Viktor Sholkin.

Adam Schiff called Sholkin corrupt, an evidentiary unsupported accusation. But in this version, his replacement Yuri Lutshenko is an anti-corruption hero.

2. However, when defending Marie Yovanovitch, Democrats argue Yuri Lutshenko is not an anti-corruption hero, but rather was himself corrupt.

That's because he's accused Yovanovitch of pressuring him to drop cases against allies/families of the Bidens/Yovanovitch/Poroshenko.
3. Put plainly, the only way to defend Joe Biden and make their case against Donald Trump is to contradict themselves.

They just hope people don't know enough about Ukrainian politics to notice. Truth is Zelensky views them as an artifact of Poroshenko corruption, not heroes.

Either way, it is an embarrassment. What a shame.
There's one thing that strikes me very odd.

For those who don't know, we don't collect respondent data and process the results within minutes.

That's not how it works.

Another bald-face lie by Adam Schiff.

The Judiciary Committee was a rubber stamp for the Intel Comm. @RepDougCollins asked for a minority hearing, which @RepJerryNadler promised to him.

He reneged.

President Trump was not afforded confrontations rights when it mattered.
@RepDougCollins @RepJerryNadler A better way to say "President Trump was not afforded confrontations rights when it mattered," is to say that Adam Schiff and House Democrats denied President Trump fundamental rights of the accused, including the right to confront the accuser and to confront witnesses.
@RepDougCollins @RepJerryNadler Adam Schiff doesn't really want the federal rules of evidence to apply.

If it did, almost ALL of the witness testimony used to support these flimsy articles of impeachment would be inadmissible.

This is total garbage for two reasons.

1. He didn't reveal Eric Ciaramella's name. It's been reported by real journalists, hidden by corrupt big media.

2. He's not a whistleblower. Not as a matter of law nor practice.

He has ZERO statutory right to anonymity.
So, let's knock off the faux outrage and stop pretending that referring to Eric Ciaramella as the whistleblower is some betrayal of principle.

It's only betrays those who don't want the American people to learn of his history, relationships, lies, and professional deception.
It is unconscionable to argue a member of the intel comm—let alone one who is a fact witness w/ a long history of ideological activism—could even be a whistleblower against the POTUS.

He is not. Eric Ciaramella has NO STATUTORY RIGHT to anonymity.

This is all very Stalin-esque.

2. about the Senate trial, now there are two options:

option A.- a quick trial, which could last just 2 weeks, then vote and acquittal,
with no witnesses called on either side.

This is the option that Lindsay Graham seems to prefer
3. option B.- a longer Trial, calling witnesses.

This could last 2 months, maybe more.
witnesses will be called to testify.

This seems to be the option that President Trump prefers
(but maybe it is just a tactic to deceive the enemy)

#democratic primary: It's 12/1 and just over 2 months to the IA caucuses. So what the heck is going on in this primary that's being conducted in the middle of a constitutional crisis? Well, the bottom line is that young voters are steadier in their preferences than older voters.
Taking @surveyusa polling from Aug-Nov, we see that the 18-34 vote has barely moved for Warren (-1), Pete (+1), Biden (+2) and Harris (-1). For Bernie, there was a big drop of -10 from Aug to Sept, but has since stabilized at 35, highest of any candidate in that demo.
Among 35-49 voters, since Aug, Liz is +2, Pete (0), Bernie (-1), Joe (-5) and Harris (-4). Among 50-64 voters: Warren (+2), Pete (0), Bernie (-1), Biden (-4), Harris (-5). Among 65+: Warren (-13), Pete (+7), Bernie (+2), Joe (-4), Harris (-5).
