The US Ban: A short Thread: Contrary to all the noise being made, the facts are the facts. 1. The Ban has nothing to do with the reasons advanced, but rather, it has everything to do with Domestic Politics and a Declining current majority population and low fertility rates.
According all census data and all available projections, Whites will become a minority in the next few years. In some states such as Texas, non whites are most likely to wrestle political leadership from ruling mostly white Republican Party.
To add to this alchemy, immigrants tend to align with the Democratic Party. Even more bad news is, White women are having fewer children like 1.2 kids as fertility rates decline. The results of this, does not bode well for White ruling class, hence the push against immigration
2: Contrary to what many assume, US, is NOT very relevant to the lives of most Nigerians and Africans. Other than crude oil and related products, the volume of US business with Nigeria and Africa in general is very insignificant.
Granted that there are other intangibles; on a day to day basis, US is very insignificant. Even the crude oil business with Nigeria, is very minimal as much of the trade was stopped by the Obama administration because US became the World’s biggest Oil producer.
The other Reality is that, other than the extraction of resources in places like NIGER where Uranium is mined for Nuclear armaments and CONGO where materials are mined for sensitive electronic devices, Africa is irrelevant to US. SA was a beach head, when it was a white ruled
SA stopped being the “beach head” when it reverted to black rule. Infact, immigrants from area’s other than Western Europe has always been viewed with trepidation. It did NOT start with Trump. Obama for example was known as the “Deporter in Chief”.
Nigeria and Africa in general, should make a full tilt towards CHINA and RUSSIA as US and EUROPE have nothing to offer. To understand this reasoning, consider DJIBOUTI for example. The US and much of Europe have kept naval bases there for decades, with zero infrastructure.
It was not until recently when CHINA built their own Naval base there, in the past few years, that both US and EUROPE started scrambling to even pave the roads leading to their bases. The Chinese on the other hand, developed the entire city that housed their bases.
Nigeria can play same Djibouti game and make a full tilt. Finally, this ban may actually result in the US embassy in Nigeria being funded from US; assuming the ban puts an end to the VISA racket going on there.
