Had a chat w/a white woman yesterday. She said she liked Bernie & @ewarren but was gonna vote for Bernie.

Intrigued, I asked her why?

And she just shrugged.

When I pointed out that the two essentially had the same policies, she said “I know.”

This explained the 53% to me.

No shade to the white lady, she was cool peeps, but “C’mon Son!”

What is it that makes them unable to see THEMSELVES as worthy to lead?

She even added that she LIKED @ewarren more than Bernie. Said good ‘ol Bern was a bit abrasive.

Still... he was gonna get her vote over Liz.

Make it make sense?!

Are they just used to letting men take the lead? Is it just ingrained behavior to default to a white man even when all things are equal? Even when you could give a qualified woman a shot? When it’s within YOUR power to do so?

I’m so perplexed by this.

I’m not like that. I default to a woman. I’ll ALWAYS default to a woman. I look for opportunities to default to a woman. Why? Because I am a woman & I know how our minds work. I know that we multitask. I know that our passion is a strength. I know HOW we lead & that we CAN lead.

Dear 53%, please choose YOU this primary season.

YOU are right there on the ballot. A super qualified version of YOU, at that.

Vote YOU, please!
