Senate Votes 52-48 to Declare President Trump "Not Guilty" on Article 1 (Abuse of Power) of Impeachment.

Final vote on 2nd article of impeachment (Obstruction of Congress) is expected to be 53-47, along party lines. Roll call under way.

To be clear, this is not a winning ticket, nor is it meant to be. Considering the slate of candidates, a winning Democratic ticket is not possible this election cycle. The idea is to keep the Democratic Party viable for future elections, b/c it is good to have two viable parties.
I picked Pete Buttigieg out of the lineup for a spot on the national ticket 4 months ago.
I said this about Pete Buttigieg back in October last year.
