I’ve been at war with myself over a creative matter that I feel can’t be resolved. It weighs heavily on me every time I try to express it. @rerutled suggested a totem, a stand in for that struggle - I can look at it without pressure of feeling I must solve it. I chose this today. 
I’ve started a shrine of sorts. Along with the paperweight, I also chose these two rocks - very different but apt. The creative war with myself is not resolvable because I feel I’m trying to reconcile the irreconcilable.
I miss the therapist who saved my mind with cognitive behavioural therapy in 2000-2. She would have been the perfect person to talk this over with.
