Happy 30th anniversary to my all time favorite movie. A movie that I don’t think will be be topped in terms of excitement, originality, buildup, hype, and fun. Batman wasn’t just a movie, it was a monumental event for all those who experienced it.

This will be a mega thread btw
Times Square by way of Gotham. A giant Batman banner appeared right in the center of Times Square in 1989 and can be seen briefly in Friday the 13th 8: Jason Takes Manhattan!
The fans who lined up for the movie were all in on this one. Lots of Joker makeup and batcowls could be seen in every theater that showed it!
