Let me tell you what is absolutely apparent to me right now in this election cycle:

3. The word "socialism" is still weaponizable and is being trotted out by establishment @TheDemocrats to some effect. They are redbaiting & propagandizing all manner of evil and far too many will attempt to unify a neoliberal message which means we all die from #ClimateEmergency
4. Austerity is Murder and we live amongst a massively propagandized population of smart asses who think they understand Economics and laugh at people advancing how Federal Finance really works. Far too kind and gentle of voices for a revolution to brew under at the level we need
5. The #GreenNewDeal was propagandized by the left, right and center. The "framework" required too much intellect for the rank and file to glom onto. So it was left to a hearty band of climate and econ activists and is largely not spoken as evidenced during ANY of the debates
6. Medicare for All requires a tax cut. Not "pay fors" & since this nuanced language of the highest order was leveraged, the right wing of both parties has been able to chip away support even in unions. This is a travesty & an unforced error so egregious I weep for our families.
7. Student Debt cancelation is a no brainer, but the unthinking masses hear "free stuff" not citizens benefits & of course "nothing is free" bullshit which harkens back to the idea of "taxes dont pay for spending!!!" Yet we keep the neoliberal framing anyways, so we lose.
8. Our bridges and railways are crumbling and infrastructure should be a slam dunk to get fiscal investment... No problem right? Sadly, the Public Banking community grok fails the most basic understanding of Federal Finance and muddies it with "financing" .The same shit with #GND
9. The unwillingness to be the jester...the harlequin... Who beat down the ignorance of taxes paying for programs and all this precise language and shitting on activists trying to simplify the message leaves the masses believing it is all impossible so they say "anyone but Trump"
Now... Our line hope... @BernieSanders has to fight against ignorance and a battery of hate from the establishment and the so woke left & the message is muddied & too few can or will invest the time to explain #DemocraticSocialism or #MMT so he is left taking neoliberal grenades
We are in the war now. There is no pull back. We cannot accept the neoliberal framing any longer... And that makes life in this upside down world...nearly impossible to stand, as we get led off a cliff by well meaning lemmings who parrot what the party tells them.
I pray we learn from this and stop playing paddycake. I don't want to die. I don't want to be held away from jobs or taking care of my family because we have failed to own the gravity of educating an ignorant world. This is war.
