@MerlinofCanada @jkenney Merlin

Some of the funds, if not all have already been invested.

Kenney/UCP took possession of pension funds in Nov/19. By December 26/19 AIMCo and KKR had bought 65% of CGL ownership.

CGL is the pipeline currently being protested across the nation.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney It’s the pipeline that has been contested for 10 years. Not because of lack of support for the pipeline, but because of land title issues.

Kenney took pension funds because no one else would invest in CGL. Because of the land claim dispute that has been an issue for 10 years.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney As the new owners of majority of the project, KKR and AIMCo are responsible for applying for the new injunction.

AIMCo is not an arms length organization. Meaning the provincial government has the option to influence and direct Aimco decisions.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney The likelihood UCP was involved in pressuring the RCMP to move in immediately, through direction and influence at Aimco, is significant.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney When it became apparent the BC govt was unable to voluntarily secure Wet’suwet’en ceding of the tract of land CGL wanted, the RCMP were sent in to forcefully remove the protesters.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney It is likely (conjecture) that Kenney & UCP are implicated in the push to implement immediate enforcement.

And very obvious a coordinated disinformation campaign was coincidentally started around the same time by far right and far left placing blame on Trudeau and fed govt.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney The very same strategy that gave SNC scandal it’s start

We have another coordinated attempt to bring down the federal Liberals before another federal election.

The problem of national unity is being caused by conservatives who keep dividing Canada and placing blame on LPC.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney The Alberta provincial government is dividing the nation, assisted by a cabal of far right and far left operatives that continue to place responsibility on LPC.

Many don’t realize feds could NOT get involved with Wet’suwet’en because the pipeline project is provincial purview.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney Feds would be crossing a line to offer suggestions, never mind intervene.

All the while, a cacophony of far right and far left partisan actors were placing all blame on feds for respecting provincial purview.

This includes both sides in the Wet’suwet’en internal dispute.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney The issue of land rights is the issue. But the province retains purview and represents the Crown.

Escalation to the national level of conflict, by provocation from a provincial police force, is now being used to (once again) assassinate the character of PMJT.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney This is a two pronged attack from fed NDP, hardline socialists & Canadian Cons.

The pipeline is not in question. Where the pipeline is located, what land is used to build it, is.

Any environmentalists thinking they can stop the pipeline are attempting to hijack the protest.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney That’s the two pronged attack from both ends of the political spectrum.

The pincer attack.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney Cons are calling for military level force. Environmentalists are calling for pipeline to not be built.

The issue is land title and who has rights to provide approval. Approval isn’t in question. Just the determination of who gets to make that decision. Hereditary or band chiefs.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney Remember SNC scandal.

JWR made an accusation.

Supported immediately by CPC and Conservative bots and trolls who amplified the issue and saturated MSM and SM with propaganda.

But also supported without hearing from others, by Greens and NDP.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney By the time the people involved who had been accused of undue pressure in the MOJAG gave their version of events at the hearing, most of Canada had received a plethora of propaganda for a few weeks, from both sides of the political spectrum.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney Drowning out the fact Wet’suwet’en raid on January 6, 2019 was the day before JWR was asked to take Indigenous Services Ministry in the wake of the first raid and mounting national and international protests.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney This is the second time, in 13 months, the far left and the far right have teamed up to distract from indigenous issues long unresolved.

And people wonder why indigenous people get angry and resentful and feel ignored.

That’s why. Because indigenous people are ignored.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney I just got word that Scheer and CPC will try to topple the govt today.

Scheer is going to push for a vote of non-confidence in parliament today.

A blockade was set up on the Edmonton West CN Mainline track at 4:00 AM this morning.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney I’m married to the guy that was operating the train that was blocked at 4:30 AM. He spoke briefly to the protesters’ leader.

Young white guy, apologetic and polite.

A non-indigenous protester, though bands & reserves are close by that could easily have provided leadership.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney Kenney is incensed. Calling for immediate enforcement of the injunction CN filed this morning. Spouting conspiracy theories of foreign interference and emphasizing the lack of leadership and disunity the protests have caused.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney I’ve written about a subsection of First Nations that want to secede from Canada. Many bands in Alberta and BC are part of that subsection and have been amplifying their support for fossil fuels and support for the Conservative agenda. Kenney profiles this daily using Teck.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney Let’s review the far left hardline socialist agenda.

Remove social democracy through anarchy - oust federal govt supporting social democracy (at the moment, in Canada, that’s LPC). That means collapse the govt.

Easy to do in a minority govt. Through a vote of non-confidence.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney Remove private property rights (corporate land and lease titles) and make all crown land a socialist economic device to provide a universal living wage.

It’s called left libertarianism. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left-libe…
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney Don’t tell me you haven’t read these far left ideas before. You just didn’t know how it would be implemented. You’re currently witnessing an attempt to implement it now.

Both far left and far right want to remove social democracy.
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney Any questions about the motives behind the push for force from CGL? Why it was so urgent to get the injunction enforced immediately, knowing a response by the FN indigenous community would follow?
@MerlinofCanada @jkenney Any questions about why so many non-indigenous white socialists are starting multiple protests to show their solidarity?

Any questions about who is causing disunity in Canada?

I said months ago the left and right were working together.

They are and it’s easily observable.
