Yes this indigenous led uprising is disruptive. Thank goodness. Because business as usual has gone on too long. And it’s working. The entire country is talking about the impact of oil and gas expansion and about indigenous rights. 2/
Climate change as a result of oil and gas expansion and pollution is disrupting the lives of millions. Hundreds of thousands fleeing droughts, heat waves and fires. And we know that all industries and all countries need to reduce production and emissions now. 3/

How many reports do we need about rising costs of extreme weather, the billions this country has spent on fires and floods in the last couple of years alone before we actually listen to these indigenous leaders & start building cleaner safer infrastructure instead of more O&G?
