A transgender person who says they want to *live as* the other sex is making a personal decision and I respect that.

Its the sudden declaration from activists, medical authorities and 'scientists' that there is no such thing as biological sex that I oppose.
When a transgender person said they felt as if they were trapped in the wrong body, it at least seemed like a personal journey for them. Agree or not.

But now they demand they *are* the other sex despite their biological characteristics and we must all agree with them.
Now they declare it is *dangerous* to even state a person was born one sex or the other.

Here is the thing.
Christians did nothing wrong.
The gay rights movement came on the heels of the Sexual Revolution and Christians opposed the drug, sex and hedonism of the culture.
Christians had direct religious references to this culture in their Bible.
Christians *always* opened their doors to gay people while denouncing homosexuality.
Christians opposed sexual education that included gay culture's views on sexuality.
Christians opposed changing marriage to accommodate the demands of gay culture.
Every step of the way Christians *reacted* to what the extreme left flaunted in their faces.
Christians were *right* to stand up to the *culture* the gay movement created and promoted.
Today Christians continue being open and welcome to gays.
You did nothing wrong.

Before the new wave of #transgender activism caught on, trans people usually saw transition as the last resort. It's not that we just want to "crossdress" or something; it's about making our bodies goddamn *inhabitable*. It may be hard for cis people to understand, but...
Personally, transition certainly fixed a lot of problems for me, particularly the depression that had plagued my youth. I was finally able to live out my authentic self -- something impossible to do with an unfeminized male body and the societal role bundled with it.
So, next time when you see some irresponsible writer dismiss transition as "just putting on a dress and a wig" -- my hair is real ffs! -- you can safely assume that said writer either is extremely misinformed about transgenderism or has an anti-trans agenda in mind.
