Goto Instagram, search for "Lagos Mainland", check the people that tagged their pictures with the location, visit their pages & see what you can learn - if they're the type of people you can live with, you'd see a few pointers. Send them a dm, offer to pay a monthly rent..
If they accommodate you while you search for a job. You can do this for any city, but exercise caution too. Check NYSC lodges owned by churches in that city & see if your church has any. Reach out to them & talk. Also try your church branch or mosque. There's always a way.
For the first six months, never stay at home. Go out everyday, and visit companies, with your portfolio properly sorted. Ask for the email address of the HR too to forward your CV speculatively in case anything comes up. Something must change in 6 months for you. Let's go!!!
