📺WATCH: @Jim_Jordan delivers an opening statement at today's full committee hearing examining voting rights.
@Jim_Jordan Today, @OversightDems will try to paint a picture of mass voter suppression by releasing cherry-picked documents and an incomplete report of the "facts" surrounding their voter suppression investigation.
Democrats say that these cherry-picked documents show a coordinated attempt to suppress minority voters.

They do not.

These documents show little more than election officials attempting to ensure an honest and secure election.
The documents also show that officials were just doing their job by ensuring only citizens are voting, only eligible voters are on voter rolls, and by taking any allegation of cybercrime seriously.

Of course that's ignored.
In one of the most backward allegations, Democrats argue that Georgia shouldn't have contacted authorities regarding a potential cyber-attack.

They argue that because Georgia did not produce proof of the attack to the Committee, that it didn't occur.

That doesn't make sense.
The release of these documents is simply a smoke screen to distract from serious issues in our elections, like voter fraud.

Will Democrats get serious about looking into that issue?

Unlikely.
