Hilarious advice from a "pro" after 20 comics in his movement blamed "mismanagement of funds" which means they took the money and ran.

In this case, literally should've listened to shittywebcomics, this is all stuff we said in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, etc.

We still have better advice than this too, much more pertinent and valuable, and it's held up over the years and we've been proven right.

You just have to be capable of actually listening.

Just as we said before though, comicsgate was nothing but the several years expired watered down lite version of shittywebcomics. That tweet picture up there proves it objectively. 😎

We warned comicsgate, they didn't listen, now their projects are turning into one disaster after another.

Short list of things SWC hasn't done but comicsgate has: Went over a year late on a comic, blocked customers who asked for a refund, leaked private backer info out of spite, flagged social media of artists, run sock accounts, chose cheapest printing/shipping, sent damaged books.

No joke, by the way, we made posts in 2013 saying "you should make your first comic as small as possible, get it out of the way, and build from there." Comicsgate in 2020 still not learning the lessons from SWC almost 10 years ago, no wonder their projects are all dying. 😏

And there's TONS more advice you'd only hear from us and not slobbo van burgos sciver, which would salvage comicsgate overnight and prevent every single creator from making yet another failed comic project, and we've already been proven that our way works better than comicsgate.

Anyone who read our blog in the old days already knows what it is though.

But also for real, "make your first project small" is something you can find us saying just a few months ago on Doug or Tim's streams. Now reethan's saying it, showing he listens to us and wishes he was us. SWC had many derivatives but we're the real thing. 😎

I mean it's not a secret that eefin's watched our streams, he livestreamed our discord channel a few weeks ago, and has made references and direct responses to things we said on Doug's streams recently.

The difference is, and one of the many reasons why comicsgate was a movement for incompetent failures, is that the worship of status is endemic in the superhero comic book fandom. Therefore, they only pay attention to something if a "famous" person says it.

Therefore, for the capecucks of comicsgate, a statement is only listened to if said by a popular person. A famous person's lie will always have more social weight than an unpopular person's fact, especially among shallow people (e.g. people who like capeshit).
