Keira Bell was prescribed puberty blockers at 16 after three one-hour-long appointments, followed by testosterone a year later. This was on the basis of no evidence or research into why so many adolescent girls are suddenly declaring themselves 'trans.'
The use of puberty blockers was designed for a very small and completely different cohort of children with persistent gender dysphoria since early childhood. We expect the NHS review to investigate as a priority how it came to be rolled out for everyone. england.nhs.uk/2020/01/update…
