There are now 23 Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) in Nigeria; as well as 5 new molecular labs, and NEW digital surveillance infrastructure that covers 15 states. #COVID19Nigeria
@NCDCgov @Chikwe_I @channelstv @Fmohnigeria State Governments and the private sector need to do more to support NCDC and @NigeriaGov. For action to be effective it has to be national and sub-national, and supported by private efforts too.
@NCDCgov @Chikwe_I @channelstv @Fmohnigeria Brick and Mortar investments are the easy part of scaling up our capacity. The real work lies in investing in Scientific and laboratory expertise/capacity.
