"All of our hearts are with people who are suffering," Inslee says.
"We are attempting to do everything humanly possible to slow the virus," Inslee says.
Labor and Industries is encouraging employers to continue to pay employees if they've been quarantined.
The state is encouraging "non-essential meetings of over 10" to be postponed.
"This virus is spread by close contact with infected individuals, quarantine sites reduce this risk," Inslee says in regard to plans for new quarantine sites.
Inslee says he's pleased with the federal government for his request for more resources and that they waved a rule that may have prohibited testing to people with more mild symptoms.

Inslee says those who are uninsured and need to be tested will have cost of test covered.
Priority testing goes to seniors and those with underlying health conditions. If you're experiencing symptoms, stay home and avoid contact with others, Inslee says.
Says mild symptoms in many cases will not require testing.
Washington state Insurance Commissioner says health insurers to cover coronavirus testing.
People that have to see an out-of-network health provider because their in-network provider is overwhelmed will be covered until May 4 as of right now.
UPDATE: There are now 70 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Washington state. There's 51 cases in King County, 18 in Snohomish County and 1 in Grant County. Death toll remains at 10.
UW School of Medicine will now be able to test COVID-19. They will be able to test 750 people a day.
Washington Secretary of Health says a team of health care clinicians from the US Dept. of Health are coming to help at the LifeCare Center in Kirkland.

State Health Officer says there are a number of viral respiratory germs circulating right now. Says people shouldn't be surprised if their health care provider says they don't need to be tested for COVID-19.
Says individuals at higher risk should talk with their health care provider on whether or not they should be tested.
"Regardless of whether people get tested or not, now is the time that everyone should be thinking that their illness could be COVID-19 and taking additional steps to protect other people in the community," says state Health Officer.
Inslee says there's a possibility the public health department could take over control of the Life Care Center in Kirkland.
