CLARIFICATION FROM @KCPubHealth - 3 new “presumptive” cases of coronavirus, not 4 new cases. This brings total number of presumptive cases to 4. This means they’re awaiting @CDCgov testing confirmation #KOMONews

In addition to Kirkland Fire, 7 fire fighters with Redmond are also in quarantine. They helped respond to the care facility. Some are in quarantine at home, the others at Station 13. That station has had its operations transferred to other stations, no lack of service #KOMONews
We were just handed this statement from someone at Life Center of Kirkland. No update or indication as to why that person was transported earlier this afternoon. They will “possibly” send patients to hospitals for “formal COVID-19” testing #KOMONews
UPDATE: Another patient from the facility here has just been loaded in to an AMR ambulance #KOMONews
Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue says the woman (employee) from Life Care being treated there is in “stable” condition and remains in isolation. “Additional patients” at the hospital have been tested for coronavirus, as well. Their results could come back tonight #KOMONews
At Kirkland Fire Station 21, the firehouse itself is a quarantine site with a series of signs posted near the entrance, one reading “do not enter unless necessary” #KOMONews
UPDATE: Late last week, we've learned 16 students with Lake Washington Institute of Technology visited Life Care. That campus is now being disinfected and faculty is 'in touch' with those students, awaiting guidance on next steps from @KCPubHealth #KOMONews
