King County Executive Dow Constantine says the county has moved into a new stage to fight the coronavirus outbreak, declaring a state of emergency.
Constantine says the county is purchasing a motel and modular housing for infected patients.
Constantine says they have identified multiple sites for these facilities.
Director of Public Health Patty Hayes is asking the public to save masks for health care workers and those who need them..."we need assets for our frontline health care workers.."
JUST IN: 5 people in Washington state have now died from coronavirus.
This brings the total number of cases in Washington to 14, including the five deaths.
Per @KCPubHealth, new cases include:

-A man in his 50s, hospitalized at Highline Hospital.

- A man in his 70s, a resident at LifeCare, hospitalized at EvergreenHealth. The man had underlying health conditions and died Sunday.

@KCPubHealth .@KCPubHealth does not recommend widespread school closures at this time. They say if there are positive cases at a school, they will work to provide guidance.

@KCPubHealth .@KCPubHealth says do not go to the emergency room unless necessary. They say if you have symptoms like cough, fever or other respiratory problems to contact your regular doctor first.
@KCPubHealth There are now 18 total coronavirus cases in Washington state, including 14 in King County and 4 in Snohomish County.
@KCPubHealth Health officials say to stay home from work if you are sick.
