1-A lot of friends have asked me what they should be supporting w/ 💵& ⏰. Even if you have a favorite candidate or 2, for every $ you give to them, you should also give $1 to an org working to build the long-term infrastructure that will ensure no more Trumps for the long haul

2- these are orgs that register ppl of color & youth to expand the electorate in places like Texas & Florida. They are orgs that organize with communities often overlooked, to build power & recruit candidates so our bench is more representive of the party we SAY we want to be

3- Going to slowly add to the list of orgs & local candidates on this thread. Encourage others to tag in the ones I end up inevitably leaving out. I’ll start with state-based long term organizing. There are SO MANY good ones.

6-@NewVAMajority is a good part of why we now consider #Virginia almost a blue state. It has done incredible year round organizing to empower voters in places like Hampton Roads & mainstream the issues underserved communities want addressed in politics. newvirginiamajority.org/nvm_donation

7- @TXOrgProject is one of the awesome groups that has killed it to put #Texas in play. Like other orgs in their model they don’t just register huge numbers of new voters, they advocate on issues like race & money bail, building power between cycles.
