Today we are excited to introduce FA2: a multi-asset interface proposal for #Tezos.

FA2 significantly extends the types of tokenization use cases possible on Tezos, supporting a wide variety of token types and multi-asset contracts in a standard API.

As a next step, we have opened a TZIP-12/FA2 Request for Comment on @tezosagora and look forward to the global #Tezos community's feedback and questions on the proposal:

To start playing around with an early FA2 prototype, check out @Stove_labs’ tutorial for implementing a mini-token contract using @trufflesuite and Flextesa.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be publishing FA2 implementations and tutorials suited to a variety of use cases, as well as a detailed post about FA2 implementation patterns.

We'll also begin adding them to assets.tqtezos.com.
