Because somebody brought it up, I went back and I'm reading up on swine flu in 2009. What is notable is how similar many of the challenges and/or problems were and how civil institutions responded. What is different is the political BS and freak out that simply didn't happen

Repeatedly offered whatever was needed legislatively and did not appear to target Obama over the swine flu issue or use it as a political platform. I've probably missed some criticism but he doesn't appear to have used it as a target. What's amazing is that if current
growth patterns are to be believed, the swine flu outbreak in 2009 will be much larger by people infected and people killed. Again, not criticizing Obama rather how do we as a society react. If you're holding a mirror up to society and our response, the picture ain't good
