1. I collected Mum’s ashes today. Agree with Gay - a wonderful partnership with doctors and nurses at the Gold Coast Hospital and Robina Palliative Care allowed her to live well and die at home.
She’s inside me now and I’m taking her advice at last.

2. My Mum gifted her family & friends with the joy of living facing death. Advice to her grandchildren:
Be bold
Don’t be afraid of a bit of colour!
Chin up, shoulders back
Don’t dwell
Go for memorable over perfect
Laugh at yourself, and

3. It was a privilege to care for Mum at home before her death, Deathbed promises to keep now. Love you forever, Mum.

4. I’m so proud of my sister for giving Mum a voice on euthanasia after her death. And for so beautifully telling the story of Mum’s life after diagnosis with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Mum would have loved it.
