He lets it go and he lets Seokjin drag him back to his apartment and put on
Christmas specials.

He lets it go and he makes Seokjin dinner to prove it to the elder that he’s just as good in the kitchen as he is. Seokjin is allergic to garlic he finds out but eats it anyways.

He lets it go and falls asleep against Seokjin’s shoulder, his stomach full of good food and hot chocolate made special by Seokjin.

He lets it go because Seokjin tells him it isn’t his fault and even if it’s hard to believe, he knows Seokjin wouldn’t lie to him.

When he wakes up the TV is still on and he’s covered in a blanket. He doesn’t feel cold by the revelation that he’s alone. Instead he just feels… warm. Probably the warmest he’s felt in a long time.

Especially when he realizes there's a sticky note pressed to his forehead.
