Just how does @abcnews know which is true??
This is the same mind numbing point over and over again. There is an unproven narrative here. If news media are propping it up, why are we treating it as news rather than storytelling without proof?

I claim that Jeffrey Epstein’s fortune was likely NOT generated as a financier.
In short: is @abcnews telling us what they know (as is their mandate), or are they keeping from us what they know?

The @nntaleb’s of the world have already paid the disagreeability penalty.

The @balajis crowd paid the eccentricity penalty early.

The @MsMelChen group is ethnically Chinese but gung ho USA.

The @WilliamAEden & @diviacaroline group are living in uncorrelated sub communities.
In short, the lay folks most likely to be firm and/or early had either already paid an extreme social penalty for a variety of different reasons (and were thus already more divorced from social norms), or they were well positioned not to be destroyed by false charges of racism.

Triage Talk: When your government and other leaders have not secured sufficient resources, you will be triaged to cover this error.

Without being in any way sensationalist, that means some of us will die who could have been saved.

It's time to learn that this is done via codes:
There are many different triage systems out there. They all count on us not understanding the language or the structure of the decision tree.

You might, for example, think that 'expectant' meant expecting care rather than expecting death.

What we need to do is to:

A) Offer help to our emergency response teams to secure scarce resources on emergency footing.

B) Push our leaders to secure MUCH better answers by not being the passive participants in Triage. Find out how it works. Ask: "What is the decision tree?"

If you want to get things done rapidly you need your disagreeable people. The very people who don’t get along...and never got along!...with this ludicrous system are the people you want to take matters into their own hands, self organize and get things done. Yet that is heresy.
I called for a rogue Manhattan Project last crisis too. Happy to talk about what scuttles this from happening.

It’s long past time to bring the disagreeable in from the cold & to seat them in institutions to keep those structures honest & reality based:
