Moments ago, I issued a Declaration of Emergency and an Executive Order to provide health officials and administrators with tools and guidance necessary to combat the continued spread of COVID-19. azgovernor.gov/governor/news/… 2/
The Declaration of Emergency allows Arizona to:
✔️Provide flexibility in licensing requirements to provide healthcare officials with additional capacity as needed
✔️Access emergency funds to protect public health as needed 3/

The Executive Order requires:
✔️Assisted living facilities to implement new visitor policies
✔️Insurance companies to cover out of network providers for COVID-19 testing and 100% of the cost of testing
✔️And it prohibits price gouging of COVID-19 testing 4/
