1) From the announcement of the spike in cases yesterday at around 5pm, until 10pm today, Malaysians did not know whether there will be a lockdown.
So, they panic bought, fearing the worst - which is a lockdown.
So, people who did not panic buy, started panic buying because they did not know what the PM was going to announce. Again, anticipated a lockdown.
4) 10pm, PM made his speech. We still dont know full extent of this order. What we do know, is that its not a lockdown. Supermarkets still open.
This is not about politics. This is about working together to fight a global problem.
My criticism is about how we got to this point.
