Particular groups of people including rural landless laborers and urban service providers like haircutters did not have the monetary means to acquire food as its price rose rapidly due to panic buying and hoarding.
Presently, there are cases of people buying sanitizers in dozens. You might also be wasting a lot of water in washing your hands. I am not saying, don't wash them but use the water judiciously. It's not only for you.
If you are getting all hyper about the whole situation and you feel that filling your room with more material than you need will do good for you then I am sorry but you are being a selfish and borderline sadist.
Be careful. You are less prone to the virus than the laborer or the sweeper or the manual scavenger. They don't have the luxury of working from home. Be empathetic.
If you have done this and are feeling guilty about it after reading this, then understand that it's still not too late. Give away the extra things you have bought to the ones who need it and do not have the means to buy it.
