To be very clear about this - you can justify many, and possibly all of these measures. But they will need careful scrutiny. And people must not be too afraid of doing so, just because of the emergency.
One of the most concerning elements is the suggestion that bulk tracking of our movements will be handled under the secrecy provided by national security, instead of transparently.
There is no reason to do that. And it threatens to increase paranoia and distrust of government.
