Just to be clear. I will not join my colleagues to be tested for COVID-19. I have been relatively in involuntary quarantine for the past 3 years. With God’s grace, I remain healthy.
The testing kit to be used on me is better given to a symptomatic PUI.
The ideal scenario is mass testing. That is, of course, not feasible given our very limited testing kits. So let’s prioritize the testing of PUI and PUM cases, or the symptomatic patients and those exposed to them.
Let us use our limited testing kits sparingly or judiciously and only upon the recommendation of a physician or a health professional complying with testing standards.
Hindi po puwedeng lahat na lang ng matataas na opisyales ay magpa-test kaliwa’t kanan kahit walang exposure at symptoms. Mas kailangan po yang limitadong testing kits sa ating mga PUI at PUM cases.

As you are the presidential mouthpiece, should we assume that the government is asking the people to just wait and suffer because safety nets for our survival, especially for the poor, do not exist? Punong-puno talaga kayo ng malasakit!
“Walang namamatay sa gutom” is just another way of saying, “Mahirap kayo, wala akong pakialam, mamatay kayo sa gutom!”

This fucking country, Mr. Duterte? Such bitterness coming from someone desperately clinging to whatever is left of the power that this “fucking” country has entrusted you three years ago.
You killed your own people, sold our sovereignty, and led us to a debt trap from which we might never recover. This is how much you hate this country so we are not surprised anymore.
Your fellow Filipinos, especially our health workers, are risking their lives to protect this country that you blatantly vilified with contempt. Your allegiance was never with us.

I haven't left my room in 4 days. Luckily, I have an ensuite bathroom, 🤣. But I haven't been outside or left this 10x10 space in 96 hrs. I haven't hugged my wife or played w/ my kid. I'm having Skype or WhatsApp video calls w/ my family while we're all in the house together! (3)

The number of #COVID19 infections in countries that're not testing extensively might be much higher. There are 2 main strategies

Option.1: Test all suspected & quarantine ( #SKorea)
Option.2: Strict quarantine & Contact tracing. (#Singapore & #HK) 1ofn
The #UK is following neither of these options. #India has a combination of two but partial implementation. As a result, both these countries will have more infections, only without confirmation. While #UK has stated that they aim to have herd immunity. #India hasn't said so. 2ofn
Managing #CovidUK is major #natural experiment that a country, that too a developed one is trying. I would argue that it is #unethical to continue this strategy. Aim of #Publichealth is to prevent deaths and minimise morbidity. The current strategy in #UK defies this goal. 3ofn

First check to see if they bothered to add any variability whatsoever in the model they are using to supposedly report actual numbers from a complex system.

The mortality rate they want you to report is the - 0 day rate: Today's Confirmed Death total minus Today's Confirmed Case total.

This has not varied outside of 1/10th of 1% in the last 5 prints.
