Are we so used to the Tories doing things which to the best of their knowledge (as informed by their experts) will harm people.... that Rishi Sunak does something objectively good for people (sufficient or not), we start a religion around him?
You think I'm being harsh/ uncalled for?

Last I checked we're still heading for a potential No-Deal in December and Rishi Sunak refused to rule it out in the most dishonest way.
So while he may be helping the economy now, he's part of a government that...
I fully support the measures Rishi Sunak announced today in light of #StayHome.
People need it.
But if we act like all is OK because the Tories are feeding us with one hand, even though they're winding up to punch us with the other in December, we're going to go full Stockholm.

TLDR:
Labour rejected my application for telling the Dems/Greens that my joining was the best thing I could do to help them.

a) That doesn't mean it was my main reason for joining.
b) What's the FIRST THING Labour will say in any electoral pact negotiation? "This will help you"!
Oh and to the people saying now's not the time:

You are the same as the people telling me now's not the time to talk about Brexit when the deadline for the negotiations is in July!
Only with Labour, the deadline for the Leadership elections votes is still in NINE DAYS!

People had been calling for Boris Johnson to ban commercial gatherings for a while, just as many other countries had done.

The announcement could and should have come long before Friday.

Solid systems design is GOOD.

Thinking out your hygiene plan beforehand instead of just winging it is GOOD.

On my second day in Pune, I get a strange dream... which says to me to learn Pavmana Sukta. I decide to ask my good friend whether anybody can teach me Pavmana. He looks a bit shocked, the sukta is 635 Ruchas.
Still, he asks me to visit Nakhate Maharaj for advice. Nakhate Maharaj as usual just nods and asks me to visit Phatak Guruji who lives next door... he says “Just say that I sent you and describe your dream”.

After 70 years of imperial/neoliberal indoctrination the web of lies is so obviously absurde (9/11, Skripal, WH = ISIS, etc.), that it is dissoluting. The empathetic humanity connects, closes ranks and sends their eternal psychopathic rulers and their lackeys into nowhere land.
The "evil empire" is a lifelong three year old child. I certainly loved my children at that age too, however only because they created not only a surreal mess, but also made steady progress.

A great documentary about psychopathy and society:
The elite invented "democracy" to protect them from the empathetic people. The media are their means for misleading the people sedated by "democracy". This is definitely a bad thing since the people have become educated and the elite almost totally insane.
