Here's a fantastic photo to kick off today's #DavesCarIDService. Not a lot to go on, but I believe left is 1929 Dodge DA coupe (due to fender crease) and background is 1928-9 Cadillac phaeton (due to running board compartments)
Dad's first car was a 1946 Pontiac.
The big rig is a 1917-18 Packard Twin 6 touring, the little nipper is driving a similar year Gendron pedal car.
Kiddie cars have been around for almost as long as grown up versions.
Another Packard, this one a base model 1948-50 Packard 8. The fancier models would have the swanky swan hood ornament.
Somebody made their grand entrance to the pool party in a 1949 Buick Roadmaster Sedanette
Not a fan of snooping on neighbors, but pic #1 contains a 1941 Chevy sedan and 1953 Chevy Belair; pic #2 is a 1948-54 Chevy pickup
A great pic, and the car is a 1928 Chevy National
Carport contains a 1963 Pontiac Safari wagon, which by 1971 would have been a grizzled veteran grocery-getter
I wondered if it might have ended up as the famous beach hulk Pontiac Safari wagon, but this one's a '64
Not a Cadillac, but a slightly more prosaic 1941 Buick
Somebody's ill conceived back yard junk yard sports car project; underneath is probably 1936-39 Ford chassis, as evidenced by the Ford "wide 5" wheels
This shot is worthy of a Mack Sennett silent comedy series. (I'd call them Aunt Mabel and her Devilish Imps). Car is a 1926 Chevy Superior.
This production of "Almost 7 Brides For Almost 7 Brothers" features what I think is a 1936 Plymouth 2 door sedan, but not 100% sure. Amazing shared likenesses among these boys.
Circa 1922 Ford Model TT wood cab truck. Note sliding doors.
These bayside accomplices are waiting to pick up their Alcatraz escapees in a (L) 1946-48 Plymouth coupe and (R) 1949-50 Nash Statesman
The Caddy for Daddy on this Blue Note release is a '66
...and this mid-century temptress in the Capri pants is getting into a circa 1956 Mercedes 300S cabriolet
This haphazard parallel parking tableau features (L-R) 1938-40 Ford or Mercury, 1942-48 Chevy or Pontiac, 1937-8 Chevy 4 door, and 1937-8 Chevy 2 door
The buxom sweater girl here is beside a 1951-52 Nash Rambler 2 door wagon
Ah, those days when boys were fitted with their first fedora at age 3. Not a lot to go on here carwise, but I'll venture both are 1942/1946-8 Fords.
Those kids look like they're going to stage a grade school production of "The Big Sleep"
A 1932 Chevy 5 window coupe, easily identified by the opening/closing hood vents. But a reminder, please tag you requests #DavesCarIDService to make sure I see them.
*both 1932 Chevys and 1932 Buicks had door-style hood vents; Chevy had 4 per side, Buick 5
derp, I sorta forgot all GM 1932 cars had the door style hood vents; Chevy & Pontiac 4 per side, Olds, Buick, LaSalle and Cadillac 5. But trust me, the one in pic is a Chevy
A 1933 Dodge 4 door sedan. Looks similar to 1933-4 Ford (and 33 Plymouth) but tip offs are vertical/unequal length hood louvers, artillery wheels, and Ram hood ornament
This is a terrific pic, but the ID is stumping me. Usually slanted louvers in the 1915-20 era indicate Olds, but this ain't. Maybe Elcar or Elgin? May need an AACA assist on ID here, the most unique feature is the windshield shape
Ah-hah! It does indeed appear to be a circa 1919-20 Lexington touring car. H/T to @JohnBreads for the eagle eye

Lucky Luciano and his mobster pals were certainly Cadillac fans. From L-R, a 1953, 1940, 1956, 1957, and a 1946-7. On the end is a 1956-7 Continental Mark II.
1951 Chevy, behind it is a 1956 Ford; both wearing Torq Thrust D chrome spoke wheels, which I assume had to be smuggled to Cuba illegally
The transportation for the fateful double date that eventually resulted in you was a 1950 Chevrolet.
That's it for #DavesCarIDService today, I'll try to knock a few more off tomorrow. Thanks for sharing so many great family pics and keeping our societal memory healthy.
