Henry and Dix taking questions now. Re: enforcement of orders, Henry says police have power to do this if necessary, but not saying how. Re: letter from staff at #RCH to lockdown all of #BC, Henry still refusing to take harder line because essential services need to keep going.

Re: possible ban on domestic travel, Henry says we are all inter-connected and inter-provincial travel may still be necessary if you have family you need to help elsewhere, but now is time to stay home if you can.

Re: backlog of test results, Dr. Bonnie Henry admits it’s been challenging and spiking numbers linked to results finally coming in. She says backlog should be cleared by early next week. Nearly 18-thousand tests done as of Friday. Focus is on where they can make most difference.

Re: workers worried bosses not doing enough to keep them safe, Henry says safe distances must be maintained and closures have been ordered when necessary. She’s trusting construction industry to take appropriate measures.
