Pelosi bill includes provision on corporate board diversity. Is there any evidence such measures produce better corporate behavior? Student loan giant Navient, scammy Wells Fargo, & opioid distributor Cardinal Health have very diverse boards, has that made society any better?
Germany has some of the most robust responses of any large European economy to the covid, low rates of poverty, domestic manufacturing, in part because it's a society in which every large business must have *worker* representation on corporate boards, a demand Dems aren't making.
The Pelosi bill includes a demand that airlines receiving a bailout designate one board seat to a representative of a labor union, why isn't every company receiving a bailout under the same obligation?
