1. Both a “Sense of Congress” & Senate language....

3/ that would address #surprisemedicalbilling — what’s a sense of Congress you ask? No clue. Strength of statue? “Strength” of a UN resolution”? Not good if Congress punts entire issue to @HHSGov
Still reviewing Senate language—but are they frigging kidding us w/ cramming...

4/ #SMB into must pass bills when y’all are putting your lives on the line to stop a global pandemic? #Healthplans should be ashamed—great quid pro quo 4 agreeing to reimburse testing and treatment for no patient cost sharing in exchange of #SMB.

5/ costs for waiving Pt cost sharing for testing and treatment for #COVIDー19? Wait for it...

The taxpayers will be reimbursing the health plans for that cost—now that’s about as cynical as it gets.
