Hospitals get stressed with a few thousand cases so we need to expand capacity and also slow the spread. Now to merit: There is no legitimate data to suggest anywhere close to such a death toll/rate. SE Cupp is spreading panic and thus straining the healthcare system.
For 2.5% of the US population to die, you need a contagion rate of 50% (meaning 165 million people get it) in one year, and then 5% of those dying. No country/region has those two numbers at once. Not even close. This does not mean Coronavirus is not an issue. cc @secupp
Hospitals unable to hold a few thousand cases does not equal 2.5% of the population dying. Some people are incapable of stressing the point that hospitals can snap easy from Corona without giving garbage data to the masses which spreads panic and strains the healthcare system.
