🔑 1) The most important topic for almost everyone is themselves

Drive a nice car and you may draw glances

But within a minute or so

& they’re back into their own little world thinking about themselves

Use ‘you’ to tie them into the topic.

I see so much content being vague, abstract or using way too much “I, me”

If the topic is them, by default they’re an active participant not a spectator

🔑 2) Use over exaggerated hooks

Example:
“Don’t read further if you’re afraid of thinking and would rather be asleep”

Creates this perception that if they stop watching they’re afraid so now they’re more committed and intrigued

another example:

“if you fear seeing what’s beyond the comfort zone, i totally get it man, no hard feelings if you stop watching right now

the roller coaster of hard hitting questions were about to hop on is not for everyone”

🔑 3) Re-Hook before major points or after expanding on a point for a long time

Re-booking is simple:
“..ok but this is where it all starts to get crazy”

“this is where it gets interesting, check this out, you....”

Re hooks engagement/attention after longer point articulated

🔑 4) Make them an active participant

I use metaphors often. I purposely leave out a obvious detail

This keeps them an active participant, encouraging them to think

Makes a epiphany feel like it was calculated on their own

Lead them to 4 with (2+2), don’t always spell out 4

🔑 5) Create your own language

“aight bet gucci bro” people follow trends

having your own unique vocabulary/way of speaking implies your a trendsetter, someone to follow, someone unique.

implying unique value. implying rare. implying more valueable

🔑 6) Use colorful language in the right proportion

and not as a flex of vocabulary but a injection of color & emotions

and not in a way that makes things more complex or hurts readability
