So BC has seen its daily increase in cumulative #covid19 infections drop from 24% to 12% since social distancing. The curve, thank the stars, is flattening. That's big. It's huge. 30 days from now, 12% = 21,720 cases. Sounds bad? Well 24% would = 460,244 CASES
And if we had NOT introduced social distancing back around March 13? That 24% trajectory would have meant that, 30 days from now, we would have had 691,953 FRICKIN CASES OF COVID19.
It's working. The curve is bending. Take a bow, BC. BUT STAY. AT. HOME.
Here's where we are at. This is the curve. That's us, down the bottom, with dates zeroed at the moment of 2 infections/million popn (ie total popn doesn't distort this). So keep your fingers and toes and everything crossed from the comfort of your homes that BC keeps this going
