It is not services, it is manufacturing & it is manufacturing of live saving precision instruments.
Even our copy cat implants are second rate and no manufacturer wants to spend on CE or FDI certification.
And Govt does not care. We spend 63 $/person on Healthcare while

That is stupid. Quality Healthcare costs money & if people don't want to pay you get wretched expired stuff.

Every equipment in Operation Theatre, almost all in Laboratories, every capital medical equipment like CT/MRI/PetCT etc are all manufactured by China.
Next time you hate China & don't want to buy anything from them ask the effing Govt to spend money on Healthcare + hire good R&D

I know at least 20+ doctors, back from abroad struggling with system here. We want to help but things are so corrupt; I don't know where to start.
My hospital has not got clearance even now for Ayushman cases. I got ESI thanks to a very upright IAS officer.
