A friend at State has just confirmed that this is actually happening. The United States is accepting coronavirus aid from the Russian Federation.
This isn't about banding together as humans, either. The Kremlin deploys foreign aid strategically. And I'm sure a lot of Russians in need aren't going to see a drop of it.
