In running against Biden, the far right is planning more anti-Semitism than we've ever seen in a U.S. election. Trump, Putin, Orban, Giuliani, and the far right say George Soros runs the world. Now they think Gretchen Whitmer will be Biden's VP, so they call her a "Soros puppet."
This will be the ugliest election in U.S. history. And 97% of the ugliness will come from racists, xenophobes, misogynists, and anti-Semites on the right, who'll be stoked openly by Trump and at a *minimum* dog-whistled to by mainstream Republicans. Media *must* prepare for this.
In a historically low-turnout election, Trump's aim will be to whip his voters like they're lame horses in the 14th century. And since he has no ability to inspire anyone—he has no charisma or leadership qualities—he must compel with hate and fear, and that's just what he'll do.
