When #Jamaat-e-Islami's #Bangladesh branch aggressively lobbied Washington DC to whitewash itself in the halls of Congress, the Administration, & think tanks, we made sure people knew who they were talking to & what they stood for. meforum.org/islamist-watch… /3

Later, Congress used @meforum research in introducing a bill calling out #JamaatEIslami's bad acts across South Asia & in the US. This is the 1st time a bill of this sort has been introduced & a major blow to #JEI efforts to whitewash themselves in DC.

When other Islamist groups, such as @CAIRNational & @mas_national started partnering with @ICNA & the toxic @standwkashmir to demonize #India & politicize #Kashmir, @Islamist_Watch researchers explained in detail what was happening. meforum.org/islamist-watch… /5

#Jamaat-e-Islami's American franchise @ICNA was openly working with a former agent of #Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (#ISI). Yet few noticed. @Islamist_Watch's @samwestrop made sure #India knew what was happening.

These @Jamaat-e-Islami franchises didn't stop there. They also hired @PerkinsCoieLLP, the law firm responsible for the (in)famous "Steele Dossier," to attack @meforum & Congressional sleuthing efforts intoterror finance.

As #Jamaat-e-Islami franchises got closer to members of Congress like @IlhanMN, & were involved in underhanded efforts to disparage journalists like @AartiTikoo (a #KashmiriPandit) we made sure the world knew about it in an article that went viral.

Finally, we looked into @standwkashmir which mysteriously sprang up in 2019 & worked closely with #Jamaat-e-Islami franchises. Surprise, surprise! They are apologists for terrorists & radicals.
