Do you remember #Janabi? Abir Al Janabi. A 14-year-old #Iraqi girl. In 2006, Janabi's father stopped sending Janabi to school in fear of the #US Army's focus on his daughter. The Army who was establihing "#democracy" and "#human rights" in Iraq. 1/32

Janabi used to stay at home, spending her days of adolescence playing with her younger siblings.
The U.S. military's security checkpoint was located just 200 meters from Janabi's house. One day, a #USsoldier notices Janabi. And Janabi and her family were doomed right then. 2/32

For a few days at first, the #soldiers repeatedly came to Janabi's house in the name of search and made ugly gestures towards her. One day the four #armies decided that today they would be the day to enjoy Jamabai and kill some #Muslims. 3/32

On the morning of March 12, Janabi's father was talking to his youngest daughter in the garden when he sent the two boys to school. Janabi and her mother were in the kitchen. In the meantime, they see four men from the army at the checkpoint surrounding their house. 4/32

2 soldiers,Steven_Green & Spellman, called Janabi's father Qasim and his 8-year-old daughter Hadil from the garden and took them inside & Separates them from Janabi. Green shot them in the head and killed them. Cortez and Barker, on the other hand,took turns #raping Janabi. 5/32

Janabi tries her best to save herself. But she was helpless to those animals. Meanwhile, Janabi heard gunshots and knew that her father and sister had been killed. The pain of #gangrape, & the grief of losing the people closest to the family . 6/32

After the #American soldiers raped Janabi, killing her and her entire family, they did not stop there. The corpses were burned to destroy the evidence. Rape and murder was labeled as the work of Sunni fighters. 8/32
