Our platform remains the same as in previous Elections.
We march, advocate, peacefully protest; yet, we continue to be harmed trying to ensure that we all have the ability to live & thrive.
Together we succeed!
Save your dollars. This campaign doesn’t ask for donations.
Elections shouldn’t be about who can afford to buy Elections or how much wealth a Candidate has— that’s white supremacy tactic 101.2b.
Your efforts to share the message Vote D!ONNE Renée @OnElectionDay is what is needed
We won’t get what we need without you. Together we succeed!✅
Your vote empowers the Elected to do a number of things
•actively care
•protect our rights & interests
•advance our rights & interests
•ensure our rights & interests
•engage, inspire, build Community
•centre us to be, live & thrive

The plan has never changed. Ensure #accessible housing.
Keep people housed.
Still waiting on a link from the City re unhoused people’s voting rights.
In the meantime: We’ve been in a #housing crisis for the past 2 #Toronto Elections & beyond. Why does John Tory continually co-sign the sales of City/Public owned properties/land to private entities?
My notes reminded me of similar media access, dissemination of info, use of public airwaves concerns raised in previous Elections. While sitting as Mayor John Tory still receives an income from Rogers-- who wants to buy the company that owns Global News.
I had to say the same things to @globalnews again 4 years later re fairness, fair representation, transparency, integrity, being in the position of trust, use of public airwaves, mediocrity, maintaining the status quo, betraying democracy
When Canada’s media/telecommunications companies are owned by 3 families @CRTCeng why should we believe use of our public airwaves, particularly during Elections, is fair?
White supremacy maintains mediocrity; it works to exclude and control narratives that call its integrity into question all while negatively impacting real issues #TOpoli#TORONTO#electionTO

My answers to the questions I was asked as a Mayoral Candidate in the current 2022 Toronto Elections. Global News has not posted my responses. Review thread above and video attachments for further historical context.

Reallocation of a portion of #Toronto Police Services’ more than billion dollar budget could have contributed to building accessible housing, improving services, ensuring accessibility.
More about #housing
✅reallocation of resources, including but not limited to the Police budget, towards a newly created #AccessibleHousing Portfolio & other Emergency Measures priorities
Scrutinizing, assessing, planning and reallocating resources to effectively serve and engage Community proactively ensures our collective ability to live, be and thrive.
Those were my in-depth answers to the questions @globalnews@globalnewsto emailed me that I answered. Global News did not post my answers on their website.
Congratulations to #OurVeryOwn Dr. @Dori_Danthro, Dean of the Faculty of Design at @OCAD, who has been selected to receive the Sir Misha Black Medal for Distinguished Services to Design Education for 2022.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I haven’t discussed this with her yet but when I’m elected as Mayor, Dr. @Dori_Danthro will be #Toronto’s Head Design & Innovation Director on imagining, decolonizing & building Toronto.
#Housing is also a solution that can provide stability, security and safety to ensure our collective ability to live, be and thrive. Together we succeed!✅
After 2 Toronto Police Services Board Administrators confirmed receipt of my submissions and inclusion for all the Agenda items I receive an email after business hours that I’m excluded from participating. They say I was late with my submission & didn’t include details for Agenda
The #TPSB wants to use this method of “holding meetings” to actively exclude people from participating by simply clicking a button.
The Board didn’t follow its own bylaw for submitting its Agenda but expects the Public to strictly follow its bylaws.
👉🏿 where Parties are involved- that Parties sign legally binding agreements about their commitments and if in breach of contract they can be removed AND/or they’re exempt from running in the next election year.
@OldRegime1837@KellyLNL@maej43 👉🏿 publicly funded, meaning we put a cap to no more than $5,000 dollars for each Candidate. The objective is to demonstrate that Candidates know how to be creative and know how to stretch a dollar rather than spend it.
@maej43 We’ll never get “Electoral Reform” necessary to ensure inclusion, engagement, participation, representation & democracy if the Party in power starts with the mindset of will changes to what is current make them win?
If objective doesn’t centre Community over politricks its lost.
@maej43 My desire for Electoral Reform may be fantasy, but dreams do come true. In addition to creating an Electoral system that ensures the opportunity to both vote directly for the local Representation AND for the Leader/Lead Representative (similar to Municipal Elections).
2/…
@maej43 For ex., my vote in this Federal Election for my local Rep is for M.P. @Carolyn_Bennett because she’s dedicated, bold & engages Community regularly. I wish I could vote separately & directly for who should be Prime Minister— if I had this choice I would vote for @theJagmeetSingh
#Toronto’s City Clerk is required to answer the following questions:
👉🏿 the Clerk is to publicly address how she verifies that each ballot cast is assigned to the right Candidate & what happens when votes are not rightly accounted for;
@trapdinawrpool Why would John Tory want to draw any attention to the Court of Appeal’s pending review of Justice Belobaba’s Decision to uphold the Constitutio, democracy and representation rights?
John Tory wants to minimize any attention to the Court being packed on Monday & Tuesday.
@trapdinawrpool John Tory would prefer Torontonians be ignorant & passive about protecting our rights while he & the Province work towards selling off #Toronto to their friends.
A Public who knows its rights expects its rights to be upheld, protected & ensured.
Dear Parties involved in the upcoming Federal Elections in Canada,
Many Canadians, including myself, are non-partisan. Feigning to hold ‘non-partisan public events/townhalls’ doesn’t fool us. We see that your meetings are stacked with your Party. Be honest; act with integrity.
If you indeed want to serve the Public’s interests don’t be afraid to be challenged by the Public. Integrity is lacking. Don’t have preplanned ‘random’ questions framed as statements attacking your opponent- all of this makes you disingenuous- making it harder to believe you.
Integrity, accountability, an inclusive plan is missing in Government. Get to your plan that secures a future where we all can live & thrive.
Stop wasting our time with the childish antics and politricks. Get to your plan.
