Before I do this, I need to talk about body and dysphoria and how despite dressing in dude clothes, I'm coded butch

The media only shows trans dude who can be read as cis and not what we really look like. Most of us get coded wrong even dressed like this

Any way, here I am. Looking like this and sounding like I do (not a cis dude) and I'm talking to @theJagmeetSingh about language

And the fact that every time a "pro trans" polician says "women's right to choose" instead of "reproductive justice" it erases AFAB trans

I know he is really in my corner but this seemingly small thing is a HUGE hurt and makes it even harder for AFAB trans ppl access care

We also talked about the abortion pill and legislating it for women makes it inaccessible to AFAB trans ppl. Death by papercuts.

So I get to the point where I talk about Microagressions and his face lit up and he exclaimed: Yes! I understand this my dude!

Because of course he does! Hrs lived his entire life under a system of oppression. He didn't think I was attacking him. He appreciated it.

He honestly wants to learn and do better and work with those most marginalized and invites constructive criticism.

So this thread is just 1 small reason why @theJagmeetSingh is my choice for #ndpdlr He heard and saw me for me despite how society codes me
